Spaziergang

is a culinary walking tour through Hamburg’s Altstadt, Speicherstadt, and HafenCity — a delicious little adventure connecting five local taste destinations: TEE Zwanck, das Chocoversum, foodlab, Pâtisserie Johanna and Spicy’s Gewürzmuseum.
To bring this experience to life, I created a fully illustrated 5-fold flyer with a hand-drawn city map and playful visual storytelling.

Working on this map was a joy — revisiting my favourite corners of Hamburg and filling them with playful doodle details. The flyer encourages both locals and visitors to rediscover the city, visit partner locations, and enjoy a memorable, tasty little journey.

For the color palette, I chose a brick-red tone inspired by Hamburg’s iconic Speicherstadt architecture. The turquoise-blue reflects both the city’s waterfront identity, its rivers, canals and harbor, and the industrial character that shaped Hamburg historically.
To balance these strong accents, I added a soft beige tone for the streets and structural details. It brings warmth, clarity and readability, while subtly referencing the city’s sandstone elements and giving the illustrated map a calm, approachable rhythm.
